Prelude@# is the "3rd generation" autonomous self-learning chatbot rewritten in C# - supporting TTS (text to speech, voice output). Prelude@# is based on the "proven" technology working behind Prelude and PreludeJ/PreludeIRC. However there are some fine improvements:
Prelude@# supports voice output! If your OS is Windows XP, PreludeSharp will make use of the built in default voice and make itself hearable. You can add professional voices (AT&T etc.) as well.
Prelude@# uses a new Syntax for its memory file. That means, you wont be able to interchange PreludeSharp mind files with version 1.22 or PreludeJ...
Prelude@#'s download contains a very basic mind file. As a teachable bot her intelligence and character depends heavily on your input. Not all answers make sense but sometimes you will wonder if it really was you who taught her...
Prelude@# supports a feature called "Contribution" (Settings menu). If you leave it checked, your Prelude@# bot will contribute towards creating a generally improved mind for any subsequent version.
Caveat: PreludeSharp is work in progress...please report any bugs...go to dowload page!
Some background details: (For a small "history" of Prelude development see the section "LiveChat")
Prelude@# contains some improvements which i incorporated during PreludeJ conception. However it proved, that not all sophistications made a better chatbot.
Prelude@# inherited the "back-checking" feature (during startup) and has some slightly improved matching algorithm. This, and the new memory organisation should make chatting with her even more enjoyable than Prelude 1.22.
And here again: if you have any questions or problems feel free to post a message or contact Prelude's developer!
